Breast Reduction

Very large breasts can be painful for a number of physical and psychological reasons. Dr Chung can address medical problems ranging from back, neck, and shoulders to headaches, and irritation or infection of the skin underneath the breasts by performing breast reduction surgery. Self-consciousness, difficulty finding clothes that fit, and unsolicited attention can all take their toll on a person’s well being. A breast reduction surgery or mammaplasty, is highly successful and can be a life changing procedure.

Breast Reduction Procedure

Three incisions allow Dr Chung to focus on removal of excess breast tissue as well as the lifting of the breast for an improved shape. This procedure is normally performed under general anesthesia, and most patients are able to go home the same day.

Breast Reduction Recovery

We make it a priority to support you during your recovery. Dr. Chung believes in ensuring that her patients feel informed and empowered about their after care.

Recovery times will differ but usually last two to three weeks. Request a consultation today and begin a new pain-free chapter in your life.

Questions about a breast reduction or related procedure, contact the office of plastic surgeon Lynn Chung, MD.

Dr. Chung's Philosophy

Plastic surgery is a very personal decision and can get overwhelming at times to sort through options that are currently available. As a fellowship trained aesthetic plastic surgeon, I have the knowledge and experience to guide patients during this process. My goal is to listen, understand your objectives, and advise you in selecting a procedure that is right for you. As a woman surgeon, I am compassionate, warm, and honest. You will leave educated and confident that the end result will be beautiful and natural, not overdone.

I truly believe that to be a successful aesthetic plastic surgeon, one has to become the patient’s lifelong aesthetic provider. From non-invasive procedures to surgery, our journey begins together.
